Christmas wali feeling

It’s finally that time of the year. Yes, Christmas it is. Happiness in short is Christmas. I eagerly wait for this time of the year. No matter how depressed, sad or happy I am Christmas has and will always be special to me. Studying in a catholic school, Christmas has always been in my blood. Nah I don’t believe in all those Santa Claus stuff, but I find it cute in every way. This year I had planned on to decorate my home with bright sparkling stars, glitters and lights. But due to certain obstacles wasn’t able to do so. Yeah yeah, better luck next time. However, I didn’t give up with my baking plans. Baked a nice, quite eatable fruit cake on the occasion of Christmas celebrations. Well it was not over the top, but yes quite edible.

Here a few pictures of this year’s Christmas celebrations. A visit back to my alma mater made me quite nostalgic. The school was quite decorated and looked beautiful. Chatting with our new headmistress, Sister Lissy Rose we caught on to the recent infrastructural changes brought about in the school. Our school was now a higher secondary school and it followed the cbse syllabus. A few kids were also present in the campus. Had a great great time with them.

Taking a leave from our alma mater, we headed towards Don Bosco, Panbazar. Crowded as it always is, the place wore a beautiful look. From kids to granny’s and grandpas, the DB church never fails to attract attention. Managed to click a few clicks here amidst the bursting crowd.

Our next stoppage was another church quite nearby to the DB church. This church however had an old homely feeling to it. Christmas carols were being sung by a group of kids. Enchanting it sounded.

Visiting 4 places in a mere 5 hours was a great great fun. The streets of Guwahati were pleasantly crowded and a soft, beautiful smell of happiness surrounded all around me. Laughter, madness and lots and lots of clicks made the evening a fabulous memory. Missed a few of my friends who were out of the city. Nevertheless had oodles of fun. I wish life was always this simple and fun.

Don't forget to pose amidst everything...
